Youth NJ Soccer Coach Who Sent, Requested Nudes From Boys Facing More Charges: Authorities

A South Jersey youth soccer coach was indicted by a grand jury on 18 charges Wednesday after more alleged victims came forward, Gloucester County officials said.

Christopher Ferrari, 26, of Oaklyn, was accused of sending sexual images to and requesting the same from boys he met through the South Jersey Elite Baron's Soccer Youth Program, where he worked as a coach, the prosecutor's office said.

Ferrari was charged with multiple counts of manufacturing child pornography and endangering the welfare of a child in the indictment stemming from incidents that occurred between 2015 and March 2019, The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office said.

It was not clear how many alleged victims there were.

According to his bio on the Rutgers-Camden University Athletics website, Ferrari was team captain of the South Jersey Barons. 

He was a finance major at Rutgers-Camden and planned on attending law school.
